Chef Chris Hanmer at Bogota Wine and Food Festival

World Champion Pastry Chef Chris Hanmer will be a guest chef at the Bogota Wine & Food Festival in Bogota, Columbia, on August 22-26, 2012. Chef Chris will join prominent chefs from around the world at this international event celebrating Columbia’s growing presence in the culinary world.

After the 2011 Bogota Wine & Food Festival (BWFF), event organizers were able to contribute towards Columbian causes that benefit children, local recreation facilities, hospital facilities, and computers to a regional college. The 2012 BWFF promises to be even bigger with stellar international chefs, where attendees are invited to, “Taste the World!”

Demonstration kitchens, tasting events, panel discussions and guest lectures are on the schedule for the 2012 BWFF, including a focus on five regions of Brazil, a Street Food Fair, Columbian Brunch, and Grilling Specialties from Columbia, Japan, Brazil, Tex-Mex, and typical United States. Pork dishes will be featured at an additional event, and pasta dishes at another.
